September's Harvest Moon reached its peak fullness this weekend.
This month's Full Moon is called the Harvest Moon because it’s the closest to the Fall Equinox, which happens on September 22. It was visible around the world all weekend as the moon appeared full on September 9 and 11 as well. Here, the Harvest Moon can be seen over the Suleymaniye Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey.
