A quick update on the unbelievable levels of cuteness I’m dealing with over here. Meatloaf and Puffin have become inseparable and love each other like they’re lead characters in a Disney movie. They sleep through the night on the floor next to our bed all wrapped up together. Even Boo the cat slept on the bed with me despite these interlopers being in the same room. Myrtle (pictured above) has spent most of the past week outside in protest but has now come in and is happily chilling next to me as I work. She looks all scruffed up because I just buried my face into her fur and gave her a massive cuddle. Meatloaf does want to smell the cats which results in a little chase as they run away, but there is no aggression and I think it may be a matter of days before none of them give a shit about each other’s presence. Considering the dogs are rescues and Meatloaf literally left a high kill pound last week, I think this is all incredible. They are all ANGELS. We feel so lucky. OK, I’m going back in to Myrtles fluff ❤️
