Thank you all so much for the BUSINESS OR PLEASURE excitement!! This is my eighth book, a number that still doesn’t sound quite real, and truly, none of this would be happening without you. 💙💙💙 This book feels vulnerable in a new way for me as a writer. And that is almost entirely due to the aforementioned 6.5 spicy scenes 😅 — but maybe not for the reason you’d think. My best sex education has come from the romance genre. It took me years to unlearn the harmful messaging about sexuality and desire I received as a teen and into my early twenties — I’m positive I’m still unlearning some of it. I was ashamed and petrified and even disgusted by my body for way too long. And as we get closer to BUSINESS OR PLEASURE’s release, I want to talk more about that. Writing this book has felt hugely liberating, and it’s my deepest hope that it feels empowering for readers. And FUN, because I definitely had tons of it while writing. Stay tuned for more BOP updates! I have some exciting things planned, and first on my agenda is tracking down a pair of yellow polka-dotted socks. 🧦
