2024 was an incredible year, marking my first full year in NYC. I had the opportunity to work with so many great people, in many different places. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities this industry brings, even with the challenges it presents. As a Director/DP, my approach is inherently visual. Working exclusively in non-fiction / commercial production, the challenge of making something feel cinematic and “filmic” that already exists is my favorite journey. Always working with people in front of the camera, I enjoy the diversity of genres I’ve been able to capture, but always go back to my documentary roots of being emotion-first and authentic. The ability we have to immortalize the essence of whoever is in front of our lenses is a special opportunity.
