I’ve been siting for hours trying to put together words that my heart has felt over the last week. There are no words. There is nothing that can express what I felt the moment I got that call and there will never be enough words to express what your friendship meant to me. All I can do now is remember over a decade of memories. I will never forget all the nights at Saddle Ranch, all the trips to Palm Springs, IHOP with lots of syrup, Hot Wings with extra ranch, your hot pink nails, all the times I was your professional hairstylist, talking on the phone til 2am after seeing you all day, pool parties where we had enough food for 50 people but it was only 10 of us, driving down the coast listening to coco jumbo and kayfuyem, calamari dates at Moonshadows, spending hours with you at Party City so you can pick a new Halloween costume every year, your red Guess heels that were the perfect accent to every outfit, your love for Starbucks and McDonald’s iced vanilla coffee followed by late night drives to places only we will remember, weekly sushi dates at Momotaro, shopping at FashionQ every Saturday for outfits for that night, movie nights with your family, to everything else that you know I will remember forever. Yana, Yanuki, Yanchik, Yancho, Cookie Monster..... We will all miss you very much and never forget the way you made us feel, how you made us laugh and how silly, lively and special of a person you were. You were a loving wife, a caring mother, a giving daughter and sister and one of my very close friends for 10 years.
