Here’s my hot take on hyaluronic acid and why you don’t *need* to apply it to damn skin. Applying to damn vs dry was shown to not really make a difference- if you want to improve the hydration potential of an HA serum, it would be a lot more effective to apply a good moisturizer on top to seal off hydration than it would be to apply it to damp skin. (That being said- it’s not bad to apply it to damp skin.......just won’t really make a huge difference.) huge shoutout to @Regimen Lab for the awesome video and all the experimentation they’ve done w different humectants. if you haven’t tried their wave serum w acetamidoethoxyethanol, glycerin, and betaine- they took tons of data on the best humectants and created a formula w INSANE hydrating abilities.
