All throughout June, we saw companies put up rainbows and friends & followers wearing “LOVE IS LOVE” t-shirts, supposedly celebrating the LGBTQ+ and Two-Spirit communities. But nearly one month has passed since June ended and there are still several states criminalizing gender-affirming healthcare for trans youth, mandating outing trans and queer kids in schools, and 18+ states that have banned trans kids from youth sports.
