One last routine for season 17 of @danceonfox ,a season I will cherish forever for many reasons. (Apologies in advance for the long caption) This routine is very close to my heart because the first time I heard this song by @november_ultra is hit me so deep in my heart. All I saw were two dancers moving like they were dancing in cursive on a bed of clouds, what an honor is was to have @alexis_warr and @mrjasonglover do exactly that. Alexis your journey on this show has been such a pleasure to watch, I believe you have discovered new layers of your ability to perform and connect to you true emotions. And Jason you helped bring that out of her even more! The two of you created an atmosphere that took the audience outside of a competition setting. YOU did that, not me, and I am so thankful I got to witness it. Again, I want to say thank you to the people who helped me create this. @janravnik and @koko_iwasaki what a privilege it is to have people like you both in a creative setting. I truly appreciate you. As it being the finale I need to say thank you to the team I worked a long side all season long. You all taught me so much and also inspire me to become a better producer. Thank you for being patient with me and giving me space to be seen and also heard, @theparkerjones @qqquinny @dem_sauce @jeffthacker you are the captain of the SYTYCD ship, you are a huge part of everything that happens on that stage and off of it, to witness you work is something I strive to take wherever I am in my career. I am so thankful to you and everything you have presented me and prepared me for. You are an amazing representation of what it means to run a show with integrity, honesty, and compassion. I wouldn’t be where I am without you. Toujours. Here’s to a wonderful season and hopefully to more in the future. 🥂
