What a week!!! I was just out of High School, from a town just outside of Boston in the 80z, just as my own insane crazy ass life was just beginning when these men were just starting their music careers!!! Projects like these, in which somehow fate and destiny make dreams come true when you have lived this long and been so hood at what you do that you get to ‘be here’!!! I have to say, I’ve had the pleasure of working with so many icons and hero and sheroes throughout my career who have either sold millions upon millions of albums or have actually defined a generation or genre of music or helped creat a powerful movement or stood for a monumental cause. This pic IS OF AN ICON who’s done all of the above and IS STILL DOING IT!!! #DMC is a real life SUPERHERO!!! This LEGEND, with over 200M albums sold as 1/3 of the ultra legendary rap group, RUN DMC, possesses one of the most identifiable voices in #HIPHOP of all time!!! All day he was a gentleman, a professional, a teacher and a homie and it was an epic time!!! We talked comics and life and industry and some other ish 😉 thank you DMC!!! This week started with one of the biggest and best rock groups who helped define 80z Hard Rock & Metal with other bands like Guns N Roses, Motley Crue and Bon Jovi, New Jersey’s own 20,000,000 album selling SKID ROW and I rocked a music video for their killer new single ‘TIME BOMB’. These guys CRUSHED!!! Rachel, Snake, Scott, Rob and Erik thanks for an incredible time brothers!!! Catching up and sharing tour and war stories and taking about old haunts like The Birch Hill and L’Amour and talking music was a blast!!! 🙏 Definitely without question if they are coming through your city...GO SEE THEM!!! It seems more and more I’m reminded that with all the fuckery that consumes this business, that in the end all that fuckery and all the people responsible for the fuckery really don’t have any impact at all in your life, your career, your destiny or your success and I keep proving it every day!!! You’ve done something right when you just keep landing on sets with icons and legends!!! 😉 Live your dreams!!! 🎥
