Despite the colder weather (at least for Long Beach), I still find myself craving ice cream. One of my spots is @the_eldo_scoop located in the Rancho Estates area of the city. It’s an all-frills dessert shop that’s designed for both kids and kids at heart. They serve nostalgic Thrifty’s ice cream with a cornucopia of toppings and variations including ice cream sandwiches, brownie à la mode, and even boozy shakes.
