Leaving the 1YL conference feeling humbled, loved, & encouraged. I am humbled to hear the many stories across the globe. Stories of sacrifice. Stories of boldness. Stories of hope. I watched as 121 individuals marched around the room each representing their country’s flag. But it represented way more than just flag. They represented a ministry. They represented a people many of which live far from peace & security, yet they are full of courage & love. I feel loved. This week I heard the quiet whispers of the Lord’s love through community, worship, & yes even Disney land. I am thankful that there are individuals in this world that see & know the sacrifices of ministry & chose to bless us. I don’t have words. Thank you to all who put their time, talents, & money together to bless us this week. I am encouraged. The Lord is moving. This week we were encouraged, challenged, & poured into. Many times this week we got on our knees & prayed. Prayed for healing. Healing in our lives as well as those we know & love. We prayed for kids. We prayed for leaders. We prayed for each other. In this life clarity is rare but friendship is not. I am encouraged as we unite. We are better together. #oneyl #younglife #greeneyounglife #southgreeneyounglife
