Ready, steady, toast-and-grind and here we go! Where to start with @mark_diacono’s latest BEAUTY?! I don’t know if it’s Mark’s turns-of-phrase I like more or his curiosity, enthusiasm or wry humour? Or his introducing me to spices I’ve never used (and in some cases never heard of) or the recipes (upon recipes) I want to try out. It’s a mark of Mark’s generosity and spirit that so many incredible chefs and food writers have contributed their own recipes to the book which sit alongside those of mark’s. All ‘chatting to each other’, as Mark says of the peanut butter to the spices, in his paradise cauliflower soup. #spicecookbook @quadrillebooks
