Tony Award Bliss 💛 . Im proud to come from the theater, to be a part of this community. Since I was a little girl the Tony Awards were one of my favorite days of the year. I would glue myself to the TV and pray that one day I would be up on that stage. It was so inspiring to watch everyone dancing and singing and celebrating each and every year. It is reflective and incredible to have danced on that telecast multiple times and to be a part of the community I love and respect so much. . To celebrate so many friends who have been honored with nominations and wins this season was powerful. To watch what it has taken for Broadway to navigate coming back from the pandemic first hand has been wild - and it is a feat - this year’s Tony Awards, every show that has gone through this time deserves to be uplifted and celebrated in the biggest ways possible. . . To watch Ariana Debose lead the room was a treasure. Unstoppable. Inspirational. A leader and a visionary and each day I watch with glittering eyes as she realizes her wildest dreams. . Broadway is singular and unique and my hope is every year we inspire people all over the world to follow their dreams of being on Broadway, of performing on the Tony Awards. It is so possible.
