How it started vs how it's going... A shit day. The cancer is back. It's stage 4. Incurable. Been trying to outrun this since I was first diagnosed almost 10 years ago now. I was 26 and after the initial shock I thought if I just ploughed through treatment I could 'beat it'. Started to question things but managed to keep the faith after a second diagnosis a few years later...and even after a third diagnosis 18 months ago, I kept my chin and hopes up despite the blow to my confidence. But this...my fourth cancer diagnosis...is the last. This kind sticks. There's no shaking it off. In terms of staging, it's gotten as bad as it gets. Well. There it is. Will process it all and come back with a more helpful outlook on things in time...hope is not lost. By any means. But yeh. Fuck cancer. #nevertooyoung #fucancer #breastcancer
