Our exhibition, Arctic Nordic Alpine – In Dialogue with Landscape, is designed to travel. It is currently presented at the School of Architecture at Politecnico Milan and had its official opening last week during the @isaloniofficial with an inaugural lecture by founding partner Kjetil T. Thorsen. The exhibition deals with contemporary architecture in vulnerable landscapes. It contributes to the dialogue about sustainable design in natural or rural regions, featuring a series of examples - small scale in vast landscapes - rather than complete works in themselves. It looks at both the positive and negative contributions of interventions and the impact they could have on each specific setting.
