We recently rediscovered the amazing work of photographer Lee Miller through the @rencontresarles. What a badass. So many feels. A woman in the world of photographers in the 30s and 40s? Rare. Conde Nast (who we think about as the Vogue Corp) was actually a person! (see letter). How cool were those war fashion outfits and makes us want to wear only workwear! And she photographed the liberation of Dachau...I mean a woman's gaze on the war is so different than a man's. Thanks @rencontresarles for bringing this lovely retrospective of Lee's work to our consciousness.
