It’s first light and we are setting up for the show tonight ! After all these years the Christmas Snowball is still a magical event to produce ! Our home has been at Telfords under the crooked Victorian eves for more years than I can remember with more stars of burlesque from all four corners of the earth than there are in the night sky .. However this year we are in the hallowed halls of St Mary’s, a gothic 12 th century church where the green room is a crypt ! There will be disco , tap dancing hippos and a waltzing life sized pot noodle !! Plus Matt Baker on the accordion for the musical finale !! It’s minus 8 here so spreading salt on the path with sequins in it and good cheer . Lit the fire last night and it’s crackling at home for my guest Anna Hill.
