Goalies, we don’t teach ready stance that often for two reasons: 1) Everyone’s ready stance is different! It should be unique to you! 2) Major ready stance adjustment should be done on your own time with thoughtfulness and film to back it up. ⚠️But... Minor ready stance adjustments should be regular occurrence. We adjust things that gradually smoothen presentation and save movements regularly. We make adjustments like, how close your top hand is to your ear and/or shoulder? If it’s too close, the top hand has to move forward first to maneuver around the face mask.
