Why have a wedding like everyone else? Your story is unique, your relationship is unique, and the way you celebrate your love can be unique. Gather people together to laugh and cry and eat and drink and share in the beauty of love in a way that feels authentic. I think there’s so often too much pressure to perform on your wedding day. I guess I just want to encourage anyone out there that’s going to plan a wedding someday to do things in a way that feels right. Don’t have a bridal party if you don’t want to, get married with only your closest people there, create a day centered around your unique style, or just elope somewhere special to you and then have a picnic with people at home to celebrate. Slow down and think about how you can honor your family, friends, and yourselves in a way that feels completely genuine and rich and deep... Not just in a way that imitates what’s trendy and just creates a lot of stress in your life 😊 • Anyway, these two did that so well and it was inspiring to see 💛
