The ceremony jacket for @jordanmillingtonliquorice is one of our favorite embroideries we’ve ever created 💛💚💙 Various colors of metallic lamé fabric are appliquéd to create the base texture, which are all over-embroidered with ostrich feathers dyed to match. The feathers are stitched flat to create a fluffy texture that’s dimensional but light. The shapes are outlined with faceted beads, tweed yarns, and bullion, to paint a highly textured surface. Overall, 37 different materials were combined to create the intricate hand embroidery.
