One of my top Naked Music releases would be this by @groovecollectiveofficial. Pure dancefloor jazz funk. I reckon “Everything is Changing” would have been massive on UK dancefloors had it come out sometime between 76 - 82. I guess timing is very important when it comes to commercial success but great records are still great even if they don’t find mass acceptance. Maybe because I’m on the inside of the “music business” but I think there is often too much emphasis is on success. It’s easy to convince yourself something throwaway is better than it is because it sold reasonably well. Of course we all want to make money out of our releases but making music you really like and are proud of has got to be the number 1 goal
