When I was freelancing as a wee one in my early twenties, I would get so many emails addressed to “Mr. Alex” because of my androgynous signature, and LEMME TELL YOU, the tone was completely different than when I was called “Alexandra”. Honestly it still happens to this day, I love it 😁. Gals, gays, or theys: if you want a lil midweek boost of dopamine, go ahead and sign off on an email or correspondence with a unisex name and take note of how you’re replied to and the respect you’re given.
