1Fに展示されているインスタレーション作品《水玉強迫》(1996/ 2022年)。水玉などの単一のモチーフを反復、集積する手法は、自身を含む全てが、あるモチーフで覆われてしまう幼少期からの幻覚に由来し、草間の内的な強迫観念を作品化したものです。 This is the installaion work ”Dots Obsession” (1996/2022) showed in the 1F entrance.
