A period of national mourning has been declared as tributes flood in from across the world for Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen's children as well as grandchildren Prince William and Harry had all flown to Balmoral to say their goodbyes after doctors said they were concerned for the monarch's health. Her death comes two years after her beloved husband Prince Philip died at Windsor Castle. King Charles has shared his "great sadness" over the death of his mother. He said: "The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family. "We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mother.
