the last time I performed was the morning of February 1st, 2020 for Drone not Drones @thecedar ~ it was my first time attending & while I was honored to be asked, I was also in a terrible spot about my music life & sharing, my place in it all. Before my 10:05 am slot I was sleeping. I think I woke up minutes before & shuffled on stage from my sleeping bag with just a singing bowl feeling preemptively humiliated & underprepared. For awhile I thought it was fitting that this annual ritual of 24-hours non-stop sound was my last show & performance experience before it all shut down...2.5 years later I am in a much different mindset about “my music” & for once, I am less shame-filled & eager to share ~ ~ ~ NADINE proper last performed at Union Pool in 2018, the final show of our summer ‘Oh My’ tour w @remembersportsband Years later, with a couple secret albums tucked away, I’d say we are much chiller & maybe probably you never saw or new us before but I think my spirit is much wiser about the whole thing 👁 Long-winded deal just to announce a show that is psychically important in the timeline of me, Julian & Carlos’ lives 💠 And hey, a sorta Welcome (Back) To New York moment for me ~ Why not Show Tonight @tveyenyc Doors @ 7 Music 8 @gootheband @feldou @umareyougonnafinishthat @carlostruly We play at 10!
