Since March I've been steeping in the times and looking for answers to a lot of important questions I think we're all considering like -⁣ ⁣ Where is the sanctuary located for people like me? ⁣ ⁣ How will we all be preserved moving forward through these harrowing times? ⁣ ⁣ What are we meant to do with the rage? ⁣ ⁣ What do I and others like me need to see clearly through this pierced veil of a society we live in? ⁣ ⁣ @hman.love is an effort towards sustainable equity. At its core is the belief that Black individuals regardless of gender, age or ability are entitled to the utmost care and kindness. HMAN is anti-capitalist and has no interest in promoting or otherwise supporting a wellness industry that profits from scarcity, marking up herbal remedies for up to 70%. People deserve safety and security above all else, so HMAN is just one component in what I believe could be a new social norm. Not one of us asked to be subjected to racism and the various trappings of this white supremacist government. It is not Black people's work dismantling while also HEALING from white supremacy. As this election draws nearer I'd like to remind you all of this hoping REGARDLESS of who is elected you remember that the work isn't over and grassroots work/mutual aid/organizing efforts that serve our communities is NOT A FAD. Please do not get the game fucked up thinking that any elderly White political figure will be our salvation from the cornucopia of blights we're sorting through and surviving that this time.
