LOGO DEVELOPMENT 2022 Today, all is a gentle spring unveils a new logo, drawing on the family history of founder Isabelle Hellyer. Its figure-eight shape references the façade of Bonberette, a dressmaking shop once owned by Isabelle’s great-great-grandmother Ethel O'Mullane. Ethel's dressmaking shop operated in Melbourne from 1914 until the 1940s. "This chapter of the label's story is steeped in remembering and revival—family history is a large part of that," Isabelle explains. "I'd like to pay tribute to her work in some way, and hope to continue the tradition of Australian dressmaking." The building still stands today. Pictured above: original family photographs of Ethel, her staff, and costumes for her daughter Bonnie; contemporary newspaper clippings; typography development. Design by Collin Fletcher with Jeff Fribourg.
