Happy Wednesday! 🌞 I have put together a list of brands/where we purchased specific items for our backpacking trips! Now my family and I have been hiking and backpacking for years and my parents have mainly bought the gear, but through countless research and never ending review reads we ended up with these trusted companies to help guide us through our adventures! 🎒 - @ospreypacks - Our main Backpacking bags 🧦 - @smartwool - Hiking socks... always, they are so soft and grip your foot well all while preventing blisters (recommend getting a liner as well if your feet/ankles are sensitive) 💧 - @camelbak - our water packs that fit inside our backpacks (p.s. we also have a platypus water filter and it is seriously the best thing) 🔥 - @mec - trusted and tried 🥾 - @keen - my all time fav hiking boot (keep in mind when trying out hiking boots that the shape of your foot plays a big role in having them fit correctly! Keen happened to fit perfectly for me) 📕- @kobobooks - love taking our E-Readers out, they are light weight, don’t require a signal (as long as your book is downloaded) and make for the perfect pass time before bed or if your hanging in the trees ☕️ - @mec - light weight mugs that we also use as bowls for soup, oatmeal/ anything really 🏕 - @colemancanada_ - our tent sleeps 4 comfortably, however the tent is not light weight and is not built for backpacking so it did add some serious weight when hiking! Regardless it is easy to set up and take down! (we do have other tents specific for backpacking that are light weight but decided to bring this one instead as it was a shorter trek) 🕹 - My parents, Chris and I LOVE escape rooms and what better way to spend some time trying to escape one in the middle of the woods! The game it’s self is light weight but packs a lot of fun!
