I’ve written quite a few posts about Mother’s Day in the last few years, but never Father’s Day - because that was Don‘s story to tell. But today - we’re going to celebrate him. Celebrating a man who may have had different dreams of what his family would look like, but has been the absolute rock for dozens of young people who have come to see him as a second father. Celebrating a man whose actions speak louder than words. A man who loves quietly but deeply. A man who is so proud of these young men and women he has helped raise as he watches them go out into the world. A man who has dedicated his life to service and is a beacon of honesty and decency. Who is a perfect example of what a real man should be in this crazy world we live in. So Happy Father’s Day Don.
