Alex and I dressed as “HEB October Employees of the Month: Grackles.” Grackles and HEB parking lots, name a more iconic duo. We spent a little bit each day for the past 3 weeks making everything, from the papier-mâché beaks, the hand painted glass eyes, sewn hoods, custom gloves, custom name-tags and shirts, and the big ol’ EVA foam tails painted with iridescent pigment.
