Here’s the thing... so many of us were trained to tuck our anger away. That showing too emotion would mean you’re hard to be around and that it’s better to be the “easy one,” the “chill one,” the one who keeps the peace. But anger, she’s not the villain. She’s the messenger. Anger is just your body saying, “hey, something feels wrong here”. Something isn’t sitting right with me. And truthfully, we need to get better at listening to her instead of shaming her. Because maybe anger isn’t about being “too much.” Maybe it’s about finally honoring yourself.
