First opened in 1926, Ullevaal Stadion today holds approximately 27,000 fans. As home ground of the national teams, and as the historic home of several local clubs in the capital, the stadium has become a staple in the Norwegian football scene. In 2020, the Snøhetta team was commissioned to upgrade the wardrobes and player tunnel, and both are functionally and visually designed to help prepare the players for the upcoming game. Designed as a journey through the emotions of a football player on game day, all rooms are created to strengthen team spirit and to create a strong sense of unity.
