Yesterday my amazing mother was honored as a “Hope Hero” by the wonderful nonprofit @safenestlv, that does incredible work for victims of domestic violence in the state of Nevada. So proud of her strength, courage and vulnerability to take the stage and be an example of Hope, and share a small part of her story 🤍 With today being Mother’s Day, I feel extra grateful to call her my personal “Hope Hero!” 🥹 The picture of her at the end holding me with my sister wrapped around her leg, being in her early twenties, had already overcome so much, and did everything she could to provide us the safe amazing home, and family we have today.
