Thank you so much @newsweek for picking up and sharing my op-ed protesting the dog meat trade in South Korea.... Thank you for helping to amplify its message. For too long, people have found a way to look past this inhumane practice... Whether they find it too upsetting to truly process that dogs are still being raised... farmed... for human consumption... or they’re unwilling to consider that things can be different... But I do not stand alone in my belief that the dog meat trade must end. I stand with @donghaemul_alw and @lc4a... and WE stand with the majority of South Koreans who are ready to let go of this long-held tradition. The rising animal rights movement in South Korea is leading to monumental change and I am so thankful for every person, every organization and every media outlet that continues to help get the word out there.
