#BestOf2022 🇩🇪 🤝 It is a historic milestone for the whole country: German reunification on 3 October 1990. 🏛️ 🥳 9 November 1989, the day the Berlin Wall fell, was the culmination of a revolutionary development. The separation of West and East Germany had been overcome! People celebrated in front of the Brandenburg Gate and many other places around the former border until the early hours of the morning. 💛 🎉 From then on, scenes of reunification played out all over Germany and GDR citizens were warmly welcomed in many places.
