Is it under the center of your vehicle or offset? This will help you line up obstacles under your vehicle for maximum clearance. 2. Keep your kit tied down. Just like you want to put lanyards on gear that can be lost, strap down boxes and bags that can tip over and go airborne if you hit any bumps. 3. Steady steady steady. That means drive the same speed and avoid spinning your wheels. You will likely do less damage to your vehicle at lower speeds than faster. You can also course correct and avoid problems more easily.
