He made his debut in July 1982 and last wrestled for Takasago stable. He reached the makuuchi division in July 1984 and has ten special prizes, two kinboshi and three top division championships. His highest rank was ozeki and he retired in November 1997. Tonight he dined at Claytony‘s as our international VIP guest.
