Thank you @acc_national and @benjibacker for inviting me to speak at your summit! FYI. I came to give a speech on the importance of bipartisanship in the handling of climate change. The summit is comprised of young pro-climate conservatives who care deeply about the issue. We may disagree on a lot of things, but believe it or not, this is not one of them. Being one of the only liberal leaning folks in attendance, I was only treated with complete kindness and warmth. So many funny, kind, considerate people. I really had such good time, but left feeling bittersweet. Our divisions have gotten so ugly but we’re all just people at the end of the day. And liberals, there are young conservatives who want to work with you. We could end up saving ourselves in more ways than one.
