The return of “Abc?” Our second collaboration with Guess Jeans continues our original concept “The Source” but brings it into our “Artist Recluse” collection. The capsule is inspired by the California artist who’s clothes have been painted in, thought in, turmoiled in, and rejoiced in. Each piece was hand frayed and painted individually in Los Angeles giving each garment a unique and almost vintage look. The capsule consists of an artists uniform of sorts, hand painted classic striped Guess t, denim jacket, and denim bottoms all in a light denim color and washed black. The jacket features crochet text, custom back patch, hand fraying, hand painting, custom labels, custom patch, chest embroidery, metal gold zipper and Simplify Simplify” text which was inspired by Henry David Thoreaus call in 1854 was a kind of recluse’s mantra - as well as an act of protest against the modern world that would serve as a future model for solitary artists.
