There’s some things they don’t tell you like how your toddler feels like an adult when you hold them after holding your newborn baby or how your heart may crack when you can’t be there to help them when they call your name My world has shifted but so has my first baby’s. He loves his sister and wants to snuggle and give her all the kisses. He tells me to put my boob in her mouth the second she starts crying lol On the other hand I see him filled with big emotions he’s never felt before. This period is about patience and surrendering.
