I never take for granted how lucky I am to be her dad and the older she gets the more I remind myself that these moments - everyday moments like her daily walk up the road - have meant the world to me for 11 years. We may go a little slower now and may take our time a bit more, but her tail wags when I say, “Hey, Elsa! I love you!” the same way it did when she was a puppy in California. She’ll always be my baby girl.
