I cannot tell you the amount of times I get placed on hold and then released. But I do not complain much because I know it is apart of the process and knowing that my face, body type, and likeness is not meant for everything. So I acknowledge my privilege of sitting in these seats because a life as a working plus-size model is not always possible. Yes, I have my moments when I believe that I should be doing more or even just the recognition from my peers but I have grown to appreciate the flow of things and the natural attraction.
