PSA: Hair color is not a one size fits all. 🗣️ Let's learn from @the.blonde.chronicles 🇺🇸 who used Shades EQ Gloss 05N Walnut in this visual 👇 "⚡️The middle swatch looks rich and lustrous. The right swatch looks almost greenish, dull, muddy, hollow. Both swatches started out looking like the left swatch, but the one on the right was lightened multiple times and was porous and damaged. I colored them both with Shades EQ 05N Walnut, and washed both of them 3 times, and here’s what they ended up like. ⚡️The reality is that a lot of hair that we as stylists are dealing with has been lightened previously and is porous, and even a little bit damaged. Taking the condition and porosity of the hair into consideration is CRUCIAL when formulating! ⚡️Can the swatch on the right ever look like the middle swatch? It may not ever look quite as perfect and shiny but it can get close. Your formula will make or break a situation like this.
