Rachael Anderson @rachaelcanderson makes oil paintings depicting plants and other ephemeral things with an emphasis on cycles of growth and decay. Anderson aims to show the contingent, weird agency of more than human beings and their coexistence with us. Her work has been shown in Europe and the U.S. Anderson is the 2022 Artist in Residence at the Royal Drawing School Residency, Scotland. She received her BFA in Painting and Drawing from The Ohio State University and MFA in Painting and Printmaking from Yale School of Art. Anderson lives and works in New Haven, Connecticut.
