🧿- Happy Women’s Day - This is something I’ve been wanting to talk about for awhile. I’ve been getting hate for my body my entire life growing up overweight. Then loosing the weight and having comments about starving myself. Obviously have been talking about this on my Instagram for awhile. Now I’m at a stage where I’m not as thin as I use to be but I’m happy and I’m content, I work out 4-5 days a week I eat as clean as I can while still enjoying life. I still get hate comments and that doesn’t faze me anymore but recently a photo from a older photo shoot was posted of me on Sunday morning views page and my body got pepole extremely upset. I was getting comments that I’m privileged and the ideal body type and that I shouldn’t attempt to be apart of the body positive community as a advocate as it can send the wrong message. That even if I semi have dealt with bullying I don’t know what it’s like to not be the “ideal body type” as if my body type was in my whole life. I even had a women admit after responding to her comment that I have won the genetic lottery and she was basically upset that she didn’t but I think the same thing about body’s I see that have things I wish I had. The right side of this post are rude comments and the left are the “positive” types. I really want to show how black and white it is out there. At the same time someone is calling me a “Fat b*tch” someone is saying how the page I was posted on only shows “thin women” grouping me there. At the same time someone is saying I’m the “ideal body type” someone is saying I’m 70% body fat. The fact someone said imagine if I started working out?? As if I haven’t for the last six years and accomplished what I had, and at the same time someone is saying I have the “IG perfect body”. I’m going to get comments forever especially the more I grow in my modeling but some of you need to take a step back from your screens before you post or type your thoughts. You don’t know everything about someone and you have no idea the opposite response that’s also being said. The Moral Is, You Can’t Please Everyone.
