I really miss it.” – Dave Winner looks back at his life dedicated to the ocean and Surf Life Saving. After training hundreds of volunteer lifeguards in CPR over the decades, Dave is now dedicated to training one million Australians by 2030. According to Royal Life Saving Australia, 134 lives were lost last summer. At the moment of Dave’s accident in 2021, four out of the ten people who came to his rescue had been trained in CPR by him. Now, making CPR training available to everyone has become his mission.
