Frederic Savart @champagnesavart is one of the top grower producers in Champagne ! The first time i tasted was 7 years ago when i used to work @fauchon_paris and im still remember it ๐Ÿฅฐ . From only 4 hectares of land in Ecueil and Villers-aux-Noeuds in Montagne de Reims he makes over 8 different cuveฬes. Ecueil are famous for his Pinot Noir and are really close to Reims about 6 miles. . L'Ouverture (Opening) made from 100% Pinot Noir Premier Cru from the village of Ecueil, with half fermented in neutral barrel and the other half in stainless steel. Its a blend of three successive vintages. . I really liked the nose with this notes of Brioches, musc and red apples ๐Ÿž๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ. The palate are plenty of minerality and citrus notes, really bright and fresh with a slightly oxidative ๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŠ. I love ! . If you have a young disgorged year i will recommend to double decant this champagne before drinking, if you dont have a decanter, open one hour before to pour it.
