“The landscape thinks itself in me, and I am it's consciousness,” said Paul Cézanne while painting the landscape in Arles. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The notion that our bodies and minds are entangled with the natural world is the basis of my work, "Blood Horizon," shown here earlier this year at the NAS grad show. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The artwork is a graph of my blood pressure over an hour as I meditated and watched the sunrise over Mona Vale Beach at Bongin Bongin Basin.
