FASHION+++ Commissioned by the @royalcollegeofart - myself alongside @byjoerichards set out to collaborate with 52 MA Fashion students to create a series of portraits that best represented their approach towards fashion and design, we wanted the work to stand alone amongst the pandemic, striving for a project unhindered by the rules and regulations but rather focusing on the process, an exchange, an honest conversation. “There is a real cosmic energy to the portraits, individually they are reflective of the specific sitting and our shared conversation within that hour – but their power feels intensified when viewed as a whole – there is a united immediacy - Working with Oliver and the students was exhilarating – striving to reach a meaningful outcome, while utilizing anything within our reach, both physical or other” - Joe 2.
