Week 2 of after-school Monday Mum club and this afternoon Sophia and I attempted our first joint run. I jogged for 35 minutes while she scootered with me and despite falling off her wheels within the first five minutes (darn you pesky pine cone) she dried her tears and then never stopped once for the duration. Hearing her say, ‘I love this workout. It makes me feel so fit and healthy’ then seeing her smiling with pride at the end because of what she’d achieved was a seriously great feeling 🤸‍♀️. Like many mums I spend waaaaaay too much time worrying about what I’m not doing well or right or the things could do better.
